Are you looking to add a new tree to your landscape? At Root’s Nurseries, we are proud to offer field selection for trees in Manheim, as well as our pre-dug trees. Most landscapers rely solely on pre-dug trees, so we are proud to offer this unique service to Lancaster County!
An Introduction to Field Selection
As an alternative to pre-dug trees, you can also go out in our fields of trees and select your own! Just like there are pros and cons for pre-cut Christmas trees versus choosing your own out in the field, there are advantages and disadvantages of pre-dug trees versus those in the field.
Pre-dug trees are immediately available, as is. This allows you to immediately choose a tree and take it home to plant. However, your options are more limited with pre-dug trees. When you choose a tree from our fields, you are able to examine a large variety – meaning you’ll find the perfect tree every time.
Trees chosen during field selection are tagged and dug in either fall or spring, so they will have time to continue growing until digging season.
